Surrey rankings
Fastest broadband outcodes in Surrey
Broadband coverage in Surrey varies considerably between the commuter belt and the rural fringes. This table ranks Surrey outcodes by the proportion of premises where gigabit-capable broadband (1 Gbit/s and above) is available, using Ofcom Connected Nations operator-reported data. Ultrafast availability (300 Mbit/s+) is shown as a secondary column.
Coverage percentages are premises-level, not household level. The speed actually delivered to a given address depends on the cable run, chosen package and in-home wiring. An Area Report on a specific postcode shows the reported speeds for that postcode from the Ofcom data.

The ranking uses two criteria applied in order:
- Gigabit-capable availability (primary sort) — the percentage of premises in the outcode where a gigabit-capable connection (1 Gbit/s and above) is operator-reported as available. Higher is ranked first.
- Ultrafast availability (tiebreaker) — the percentage of premises where ultrafast (300 Mbit/s+) is available, used to separate outcodes with the same gigabit figure.

Coverage does not equal availability at every property. Even within a high-scoring outcode, individual addresses may not have access to the best networks. An address-level check via the relevant network operator's postcode checker is the only way to confirm availability.
